An extremely comfortable hotel with exceptionally helpful staff, excellent location adjacent to a major shopping street and underground station. Good breakfast and options for bread/cold platters in the evening at reasonable prices. The room was very well equipped including a fridge and comfortable easy chairs, the bathroom is open plan but sufficiently separate for privacy, and with a proper door on the toilet. The self service “honesty” bar in the reception/dining area is a very nice touch.

Great place for an overnight stay when travelling by train as it is very near to the station, check in and out was quick & easy and food was available when I arrived relatively late and left fairly early

Good central location for shops, station and markets. Friendly, helpfull staff. Very communicative. Quietish room at the front. Building work at the moment starts at 7 am (Dec-24). Aircon was gurgling all night, even when switched off. Reasonable breakfast, a bit limited. Comfortable breakfast area. Comfortable bed, room facilities were good, with old styling and fittings. Good price for central location.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. It is very easy to reach the Rathaus building and shopping streets within walking distance. Due to its location, it is in a safe area that allows easy access at late hours as well. I stayed knowing that there was a construction work in front of the hotel, but I was not disturbed at all. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. (Although I don't know their names) I would like to sincerely thank the gentleman and lady who assisted me during check-in and check-out. The room was spacious, airy, and comfortably designed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I did not have breakfast, so I have no opinion on that. However, I think it might be better if breakfast was directly included in the price, as it feels a bit high. Still, I have no regrets. If I visit Hamburg again, I would definitely stay here and I recommend it.

We really liked everything about this hotel...all the little cute details were noted...it was a comfy bed with a comfy duvet and the room was spacious and bright with windows that opened to let in fresh air. The breakfast was reasonable priced and nice variety of food. Fresh warm break was available for an evening snack complimentary. The location was the best...close to the train station and shopping street. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely rooms with pretty furnishings and room design. Comfortable beds. Lovely staff who were very helpful with everything we needed and were very kind with any issues we had. Great location right near central station. Not far to walk to other main sights like town hall, close to public transport. Okay breakfast.

The hotel is barely 10 minutes' walk from the Haubtbahnhof, and also close to a couple different U-Bahn stations that make it easy to get all over Hamburg. The room itself was cozy and charming, with a writing desk and an armchair for reading. The TV worked fine, not always a given in hotels. The layout makes good use of the space. The hotel brings an imaginative flair to many small details, which made staying there a real pleasure. I'll definitely consider staying in other Henri hotels in other cities.

* this is our second stay at Henri Hotel - last time was in 2015. The hotel was as bright and well-cared for as it was then, and had the same good facilities and helpful staff. We were so pleased. * we love the vibe of this hotel, with its retro theme * we were very pleased to be given a room on the ground floor, because of our mobility problems, and the walk-in shower was perfect. * It is beyond excellent that the windows opened so we could regulate the temperature of the room during the night, such a far cry from many bigger hotels where you can't open a window or regulate the temp, and it's far too hot at night. * the staff are all brilliant - very helpful, good at explaining things and kind. We really appreciated them. * we needed taxis on two occasions and asked at reception and the hotel's system of calling taxis is very quick and taxis turned up bang on time. Excellent service. * Breakfast is excellent - good range of food and very fresh. * It was nice to have the option of snacks, drinks and some food as self-service outside breakfast time.

I really love the quality of everything, fixtures, furniture it's all just really nice. Staff too were great. Hotel is small so doesn't feel like you are in a crowd - breakfast is good, wide enough range of quality choices. 5 minute walk from the HBF, 2 minute walk from the metro, 30 euro taxi from the airport. Also enjoyed that there is a snack bar in reception for light bites and cakes etc. There is a sauna, but that's extra and we never used it.
